- Time: 7.30-9.30pm
- Location: Glenfrome Primary School, Cottisford Rd, Eastville, Bristol, BS5 6TY - Free on-site parking.
Choir Singing Course in Bristol
- Experience the joy of singing in a four-part harmony SSAA choir.
- Learn two complete songs: The Lighthouse Keeper by Sam Smith & Take A Chance on Me Abba
- Includes music, singalong tracks and tuition.
- Suitable for all perceived levels of ability. New singers to experienced women aged 18+ are welcome.
- You don't need to be able to read music.
- This is for all types of high and low voices and everyone who sings in between.
- A warm welcome awaits all women who are curious and love to sing!

What if I can't make come for all the weeks during the course?
That's no problem. Come when you can. We know people are busy with responsibilities and get sick - so we go with the flow.
What if there is winter weather warnings and snow?
We'll cancel the evening if it is unsafe to drive and extend the course by adding extra weeks to make up for it at the end.
Will I make friends because I am coming on my own?
We'll do our best to make you feel very welcome and we aren't scary. Most attendees arrive on their own, so they will probably feel just like you are.
Will I have to sing on my own?
Nope. We are a choir, so we all work together to create a beautiful unit sound in delicious harmony.
Can I sing?
If you can talk, then you can sing - we will help you find your voice. You don't join a running club and then complete a marathon the next week, so you must pace yourself and remember it's a learned skill. It takes time, devotion, kindness and practice.
Do I need to find out my part, or what sort of voice do I have?
Don't worry; we'll sort you into like-minded voice types during the first week or two.
Will the choir already know the songs we will be singing?
No. To get everyone on the same page and to make it fair, the chorus will be learning these two brand-new songs at the same time as you. Nobody knows them. So everyone will be thrown in the deep end together!
I want to pay via bank transfer. I don't use PayPal, or I have other booking issues.
Please email or ring us, and we'll get you sorted out. Tech can be complicated and glitchy occasionally. We only want to handle cash payments on the day if there is no other option - as the bank branches are few and far between.
